So yesterday's night out didn't turn out the way I expected it to, but nevermind. The best time I had the whole night was sitting outside the pub in the cold with Boy, talking to T and J. We could actually hear ourselves talk without having to shout or talk in someone's ear, so you can have a normal chat over drinks instead of having to repeat it 3 or 4 times. Plus, there were several drag queens running about the streets providing ample cringe-worthy entertainment...
Anyway, yesterday aside, today started out as a lazy day. Eyes hurt and puffy as expected, but thankfully no panda eyes as I actually removed all of my makeup the night before. When we got hungry at around 1pm, went to Tesco to get fuel and food for tonight and then got a 10-piece bargain bucket from KFC. We curled up in front of the TV watching School of Rock on DVD (didn't finish it because it was too embarrassing to watch after a while... definitely one to watch whilst drunk because that's the only way to get through it!), and the chicken smelt lovely and tasted fantastic! <3 Boy made quite an attempt in eating his share of the bargain bucket before giving up on the 4th (I think) piece. I was quite impressed; he usually has such a small appetite that he would be stuffed with just 2 pieces of chicken. :P
LA Fitness called to say that I'm due for my 6-weekly checkup and for me to book an appointment, but I cringed when I heard the voicemail because I know I have been very naughty and skipping gym a lot and eating too much. *sigh* I don't think I lost any weight in the past 6 weeks! So much for motivation, eh? I need to stop being such a lazy arse. I slept for 4 hours in the evening today and woke up at 8.45pm! And speaking of LA Fitness, we went on Thursday to do some swimming and I forgot how to stay afloat again. :'( Relearnt it by the end of the session, but I bet I've forgotten about it again by now. And they say you can't forget how to swim! LIARS.
We also watched Marley & Me last week on Wednesday. The whole cinema was in tears by the end of it... talk about heartwrenching. The movie did not spare anyone, not even the blokes. It was a good film though, even if it was difficult to watch.
