Guess what's the name of the only store in Lincoln that sells Jimmy Choo shoes? :D

...
I just had the worst night of sleep ever, barring when I'm ill. *sigh* I don't know why I kept tossing and turning and waking up every hour. I still feel knackered and I don't know how I'm going to survive work, but there you go. That's life.

Just got back from watching Monsters vs Aliens
It was a really cute movie, quite funny. But there is one humongous glitch that made me confused near the end of the movie...
[It's a spoiler, so highlight below if you want to read]
You know the part where Susan managed to get to the other side of the locked door whilst the other three "monsters" got locked in the spaceship that's going to self-destruct in T-5 minutes? She looked around and saw these two hovercrafts and got the idea she previously used on cars (aka Susan rollerskates). So she slipped on the two hovercrafts on her feet like shoes and had a lot of fun flying around dodging robots and missiles.
Now, the problem is that when she did her cars-rollerskates stint, she was in her ginormous state, so it works. When she did her hovercraft-skates stint, she was back to normal human size.
There's only two reasons why this could be, and both of them don't make any sense. Why:
a) are the hovercrafts small enough to be on her feet? If anything, the alien clones who used the hovercrafts as normal hovercrafts are slightly bigger than her in her normal state. Or, why;
b) is she ginormous again, and then proceeds to shrink again as she confronted that alien boss?
Is it just a hugeass plothole in the script that Dreamworks can't be bothered to patch up? Like, they can't think of any other way for her to save her friends?
I don't usually pick on random plotholes in movies that I see, but this is really unmissable and I'm surprised they let it fly.

Dress and a non-earth-shattering girlie dilemma
I got my new bras this week, so I'm happy. ^^ I also bought a dress as well.

Dress also comes in black, but I decided I have too much black in my wardrobe.
Yeah, I look bad enough when I roll out of bed in the mornings that I have to crop out my head in one of the pictures in case anyone is eating. Dress did not come with the belt, am debating about that whether to wear it with a belt or not... Boss is having a house barbecue at her place (and it's all my fault), so am wondering if this will be suffice as it is a knitted dress so it will be somewhat warm for an evening barbecue in English springtime weather, but won't look like I'm still dressed for winter. :P
Either that, or roll up in my usual jeans and T-shirt. But I figured I might want to start wearing dresses a bit more because jeans and tee are very restrictive (and I think will be very very hot and sticky in mid-July Malaysia), except for the fact that I hate my calves, they're so bulky, and wearing dresses or skirts that aren't maxi will somehow or other expose them to public view. :( Dilemma!

The sunnies

Lulu Guinness, black and dark purple. Looks quite retro compared to the run-of-the-mill Ray-bans or Guess. Price tag is £119. Yay or nay?
I also went upstairs to the normal (non-prescription) sunnies section to try some out because I wasn't sure the price is worth it, and I found there is a vast difference in build quality. I know, what am I on about? It's just a pair of sunglasses, right? No. The cheaper sunnies upstairs, even if they're Calvin Klein or Jigsaw or whatever expensive brand, feels completely different to the same branded sunnies we sell in the optics department. I mean, we carry Calvin Kleins and CKs too, but ours seem to be sturdier, the plastic feels denser and less "cheap". Like you know they haven't recycled plastic water bottles to make those sunglasses. It's not something you can see, but you can feel it the moment you pick it up.
A bit like having an expensive heavy "thud" sound when you close a prestige car door, cheaper cars tend to have the plasticky rattly noise instead. (Oh god, I'm using car analogies. I've been talking to Boy too much.)
To think that I always thought we're just overpriced because we specialise in the field... guess not.
